Alliances were tested, secrets unraveled, and survival instincts reached terrifying new heights. Season 3 promises to dive even deeper into the mystery, madness, and mayhem that makes this show so addictive.
Season 2 Finale Recap
The Season 2 finale of Yellowjackets was an emotional rollercoaster that left me completely wrecked—in the best way. The las episode dove deeper into the group’s survival in the wilderness, and things got dark. Javi’s heartbreaking death set the tone. The team was forced to confront their desperation and resort to unthinkable choices, like eating his body. Watching Travis grieve for his brother while others rationalized the act was absolutely gut-wrenching.
Lottie, who had become the group’s spiritual leader, started to lose control as the wilderness seemed to turn on her. In a surprising twist, the group crowned Natalie the new Antler Queen, shifting the power dynamics and raising the stakes. And if that wasn’t enough, the cabin went up in flames, leaving them completely exposed to the elements.
The current-day timeline was just as intense. Lottie’s unraveling mental health led to a tense standoff among the women, but the real gut-punch was Natalie’s death. Seeing her journey end after she had worked so hard to rebuild her life was devastating. The season wrapped with Lottie’s chilling words, claiming the wilderness was pleased with their sacrifices. I’m not sure what’s coming next… But if the trailer for Season 3 is any sign, it’s going to be just as wild, haunting, and unforgettable.

- Starting the trailer with “Bodies” is definitely a bold (and creepy) choice!
- “They hunted their friends” — so, not only do more people die, but they’re actually hunted as meals?!
- Misty is going full-on Misty this season—no surprise there!
- “The only people that know about this are either us, or dead.” Really makes me think someone from the wilderness was overlooked or forgotten.
- “The only way to be safe is to be the only one left” WHAT?!
- Are we heading into a Lost-style “we have to go back” scenario?
- “Secrets will be spilled”—okay, but can we spill them now, please?!
